Wright Quad Dining Hall and Murals, IU Bloomington

Overview

The goal of this project was to illuminate Wright Quad murals with better uniformity, double the illumination at table level, and reduce visual ceiling clutter. All light sources are recessed with low brightness, and the mural lighting aperture is only 1/2” wide, resulting in an uncluttered ceiling with improved mural focus. Table surfaces are now classroom brightness, suitable for study as well as dining.

“I snooped into Wright Quad and WOW! Transformed is correct. Thank you.”
